ANNOUNCEMENTS - Announcing - the opening of a recruitment to fill four positions on the Commission on Aging, three positions on the Community Services Commission, and three positions and one alternate on the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Commission, each to serve a four-year term ending June 30, 2017; advise that the incumbents to each of the positions has the opportunity to apply for reappointment; and set Friday, May 17, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. as the deadline for receipt of applications by the Administrative Services Coordinator.

Consideration - of an amendment to the Concord Municipal Code, Section 122, Development Code, Article II (Zoning Districts – Uses and Standards), Division 1 (Development and Land Use Approvals), Section 122-57 (Prohibited Uses), barring outdoor cultivation of medical marijuana, and Article IX (General Terms), Division 1(Use Classifications), Section 122-1580 (Use Classifications) modifying the descriptions of "Community Garden" and "Crop Production, Orchard, Vineyard" to exclude the cultivation of medical marijuana. Ordinance No. 13-1 for introduction. Report by City Attorney Mark Coon.
Staff Recommendation: Hear the report; take public testimony; and Introduce Ordinance No. 13-1 by reading of the title and waiving further reading.
