CITY COUNCIL CONSENT CALENDAR - CITY COUNCIL CONSENT CALENDAR
MAYOR: "The next item is the City Council Consent Calendar which is considered in a single motion. If any member of the Council or the public wishes to remove any item from the Consent Calendar, please indicate now; otherwise I will consider a motion for approval."
Staff Recommendation: Adopt the Consent Calendar as recommended.
Accepting – improvements for Tract 9039, Wisteria Subdivision, Assessor’s Parcel No. 111-222-017, 111-222-004, 111-221-008, and 111-221-002; and releasing the obligation of the bonds posted with the Subdivision Agreement. Resolution 08-59 for adoption. Recommended by Director of Building, Engineering and Neighborhood Services.
Awarding – a construction contract in the total amount of $210,234.25 to Richard A. Heaps Electrical Contractor, Inc. for Project No. 2096, Bates Avenue/Port Chicago Highway Traffic Signal and Intersection Upgrade; approving a Professional Services Agreement with Fehr & Peers for Design Services and authorizing the City manager to execute the agreement; and adopting the project plans and specifications. Recommended by Director of Building, Engineering and Neighborhood Services.
Approving – the reappointment of Eileen Lillian Vonk to serve as the City of Concord representative to the Central Contra Costa Transit Authority Accessible Services Committee for a two-year term ending September 30, 2010. Recommended by Mayor Shinn.
