Staff Recommendation: Adopt the Consent Calendar as recommended.
1. Approval of minutes - of the meetings held June 22, and June 29, 2009. Recommended by City Clerk.
2. Approving - the appointment of Councilmember Shinn as the City of Concord's voting delegate, and Mayor Hoffmeister as first alternate, for the General Business Meeting of the League of California Annual Conference being held September 16-18, 2009 in San Jose, CA; and directing the City Clerk to submit the information to the League prior to August 21, 2009. Recommended by City Clerk.
3. Approving – an agreement with the Office of the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Crime Laboratory for forensic services in the amount of $372,500 for FY 2009-10, and $495,000 for FY 2010-11 upon budget approval; and authorizing the City Manager to execute the agreement. Recommended by Chief of Police.
4. Accepting – the public improvements for Tract 9024, Port Chicago Plaza Subdivision, APN's 100-370-011 and 100-370-012, and releasing the obligation of the bonds posted with the Subdivision Agreement. Resolution No. 09-55 for adoption. Recommended by Director of Building, Engineering & Neighborhood Services.
5. Accepting – the public improvements for Tract 8872, Vista Kellyoaks Subdivision, APN 134-570-001 through 052, and releasing the obligation of the bonds posted with the Subdivision Agreement. Resolution No. 09-56 for adoption. Recommended by Director of Building, Engineering & Neighborhood Services.
6. Approving – an agreement with All City Management, Inc. in the amount of $176,320 to provide School Crossing Guard Services with two one-year options for renewal; and authorizing the City Manager to execute the agreement. Recommended by Chief of Police.
