CITY COUNCIL CONSENT ITEMS - a. Approving -minutes for the meeting of March 22, 2011. (No Fiscal Impact) Recommended by City Clerk.
b. Approving - the Second Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with Vali Cooper & Associates, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $79,462.46 for construction inspection services on Project No. 2064 (Monument Corridor Pedestrian Infrastructure Improvements); and authorize the City Manager to execute the amendment. (ARRA, CDBG, and STP Grant Funds; Gas Tax, Measure C and Redevelopment Funds) Recommended by Acting City Engineer.
c. Approving - a Professional Services Agreement with Frank Kennedy of Kennedy and Associates in an amount not to exceed $65,000 to act as Interim Current Development Manager, Interim Storm Water Manager and provide Surveyor services; and authorize the City Manager to execute the Agreement (PW&E Operation Funds) Recommended by Acting City Engineer.
d. Approving - the consolidation of Project No. 2172 (Monument Corridor Shared Use Trail Project) into Project No. 2169 (Monument Corridor Pedestrian And Bikeway Network Improvements) which are both federally funded projects with similar and related scopes; approve the consolidation of both the Projects' budgets; and approve a Professional Services Agreement with Nolte Associates, Inc. of Walnut Creek in the amount of $127,457 to provide Design Services on the consolidated Project No. 2169 (Monument Corridor Pedestrian And Bikeway Network Improvements) (CMA BLOCK, STIP-TE AND TDA Grant & Redevelopment Funds) Recommended by Acting City Engineer.
e. Approving - the designation of alternates to act on behalf of Councilmembers in a disaster. Resolution No. 11-29 for adoption. (No Fiscal Impact) Recommended by City Clerk.
f. Setting a Public Hearing - for Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber to consider the draft 2011-12 Action Plan Containing the Community Services Commission's Recommendations for Community Grant Funding in all Project Categories from Community Development Block Grant Funds City of Concord General Funds, and Child Care Developer Fees. (No Fiscal Impact) Recommended by Director of Community and Recreation Services.
